HighJump WMS – SAP Business One Edition
Innovation Solutions has configured a solution targeted to the SAP Business One customers. A very important feature of this solution is a seamless realtime integration between SAP Business One to the HighJump WMS.
This integration provides detailed realtime warehousing information within the SAP Business One software such as:
- Inventory by bin locations
- Purchase orders receiving details
- Sales orders processing status / tracking information
All of the HighJump WMS functions below can be run on an RF device or web terminal.
Inbound Orders:
Tracking and visibility of inbound orders can be provided at multiple levels:
Shipment Level – tracking item and quantity for individual trucks that arrive at the facility
Order Level – an order can be spread across multiple physical shipments or have multiple orders on one physical shipment. Multiple inbound order types can be handled such as: POs, Transfer Orders, RMAs, etc.
Receiving:
The product can be received in a variety of ways:
Inbound Order – validate against an inbound order and can be configured to automatically call directed putaway or can be set-up for a staged receiving process
Shipment Level – receiving against a specific physical shipment
Blind Receipt – ability to receive without validating against a specific inbound order
Unknown Receipt – ability to receive product that is not recognized as a valid item. It will then get reconciled prior to being put into inventory.
Putaway:
There are several algorithms that can be used and combined for putaway:
FIFO, LIFO, based on cube, or directed to a forward pick location
Putaway can be initiated several different ways:
Directly from receiving
From staging/pick-off and drop-off locations
User initiated from storage or forward pick location
Picking:
The orders will automatically be released to the warehouse from the host system or manually created directly within WA 45. The following order picking techniques are supported:
Standard – pick one order at a time
Batch Picking – ability to pick multiple orders at once
Label Picking – ability to pick via label
Misc Issue – ability to ship without a downloaded order in the system
Packing/Shipping:
The following packing and shipping techniques are supported:
Standard Packing – packing one order at a time
Packing Audit – rules directed auditing of packing multiple orders at once
Shipping – can be configured to allow for system or user directed loading of a truck
Cross Docking – ability to cross dock to outbound staging location or to open replenishment
Paperwork – BOL, packing lists can be automatically printed or manually reprinted as necessary
Manifesting – Integrated to manifesting solution to capture shipping charges and tracking # information. Ability to perform rate shopping to decrease shipping costs
Replenishment:
The following replenishment capabilities can be configured:
Min/Max – automatic replenishment request generated when forward pick location goes below minimum
Top Off – replenishment request even if not below minimum
Request Item - user initiated replenishment request
Receiving – upon receipt of an item determine if it can be immediately placed in a forward pick location
Zone – automatic replenishment request generated when the total quantity in a zone goes below a minimum quantity
Inventory Control/Misc:
The following inventory control functions are available:
Cycle Counting – can be scheduled or automatically triggered when an exception condition occurs at the location
Hold/Release – ability to hold and release product by item or by license plate
Adjustments – ability to increment/decrement inventory with reason codes
Returns – ability to capture RMA information and direct for disposition handling.
Lot Control – ability to track one level of sub-item attributes (i.e. lot control)
Cross Docking – ability to cross dock multiple orders to a staging location or for open replenishment tasks
Visibility:
The following web visibility tools are available. These web pages can be easily personalized to match the nomenclature of your business:
Report/Inquiry Pages – web pages that display current status of key warehouse functions
Configuration Pages – web pages where new locations, zones, printers, etc.
All of these features are supported by our implementation playbook and HighJump wizards (locations, zones, item classes, pick areas, and vehicles) to quickly and easily map the logical warehouse to the physical warehouse.
